Bus parts firms in administration

Two Birmingham-based firms which make parts for buses and trucks have gone into administration.

Administrators Deloitte said there had already been six redundancies from Happich Vehicle & Industrial Components Limited and Happich Profiles Limited.

The administrators said the two firms, which employ a total of 51 staff, suffered after their German parent company went into insolvency.

However, they said they were confident the two businesses could be sold.
