Motorway shut after car overturns

The M6 was closed northbound in the Black Country after a car flipped over during a crash.

Three people had to be freed from the Renault Laguna after the crash, which happened at about 0610 BST. They suffered minor injuries.

The motorway was shut from junction nine at Wednesbury to junction 10 at Wolverhampton, causing delays for rush-hour commuters.

The road was cleared and reopened at about 0825 BST.
