Motorcyclist critical after crash

A 27-year-old man is critically ill after coming off his motorbike in Birmingham.

The incident happened outside BMI Priory Hospital, in Priory Road, Edgbaston, at about 1100 BST on Sunday.

Police believe he came off his blue Suzuki motorbike and was then hit by another vehicle.

The injured man is in a critical but stable condition in hospital. Anyone who saw the crash has been asked to contact West Midlands Police.
