A man has died following a fire at a tower block in Birmingham.

Emergency crews went to Clydesdale Tower, near the A38 running through the city centre, on Friday morning.

The man was pronounced dead in hospital and the coroner has been informed. West Midlands Police said it was not being treated as suspicious at this stage.
