The suspected murder of a woman in the West Midlands is being linked to a man's death on railway tracks nearby.

Police found the body of the 36-year-old woman, who had suffered head injuries, at an address in Holly Lane, Marston Green, on Tuesday afternoon.

The body find has been linked to a man found dead on the railway in Marston Green earlier, which police said was a "significant" line of inquiry.

Part of Holly Lane was closed for forensic investigations on Tuesday.

Police said they were keeping an open mind about the circumstances surrounding the woman's death and any potential motive.

Anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious in Holly Lane on Tuesday is urged to contact police.

Flowers have been laid outside the house in Marston Green.
