Arrest follows radio obscenities

A man has been arrested after someone broke into a radio station and broadcast obscenities.

West Midlands Police said they arrested a man at the Galaxy 102.2 studios in Broad Street, Birmingham, in the early hours of Monday.

A radio station spokesman confirmed there had been an incident at the station overnight and that a man was arrested at the scene.

He declined to say how the man had managed to get on air.

Ofcom, the body which regulates UK communications industries, said it had not received any complaints about the matter.
