A 30ft statue which stands over a former mine is being lit up by floodlights in the West Midlands.
The Brownhills Miner commemorates those who worked in the town's pits for three centuries before the last Brownhills pit closed.
The work was first installed two years ago but there were not funds to keep it floodlit.
The statue, by artist John McKenna, stands at the junction of High Street and Chester Road.
