Appeal to identify murdered man

Detectives are still trying to identify a man who died after being attacked in the West Midlands.

The man, thought to be in his 50s, is thought to have been assaulted by two men in an incident near Bilston bus station on Thursday afternoon.

Officers describe him as white with greying hair. He was wearing several layers of clothing including a green hooded top.

A 34-year-old man arrested over the death remains in custody.

Sealed off

The area where the attack took place, on grassland between the bus station and Church Street, is still cordoned off.

An address in Bradley has also been sealed off for inquiries to take place.

Det Ch Insp Derek Quinn said he believed the attack involved a group of men who regularly met on the benched area within the bus station.
