Four men held over town stabbing

Four men have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a 42-year-old man suffered multiple stab wounds in the Black Country.

The injured man was described as being in a "serious but stable" condition on Tuesday following the incident in Walsall town centre on Sunday evening.

Police said he was attacked by several people at the junction of Corporation Street and Wednesbury Road.

Four people from Coventry - aged 21, 24, 35 and 42 - have been arrested.

Anyone with information about the incident has been asked to contact West Midlands Police.
