Murder arrest in firearms search

A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder by police officers who were carrying out a search for firearms.

Police said the 21-year-old was being held in connection with a stabbing in Wolverhampton city centre in August.

Marlon Morris, 21, died in hospital after being stabbed in the heart following an argument in Broad Street, in the early hours of 24 August.

Officers said they still wanted to speak to anyone who was in Broad Street at about 0330 BST that day.
