A man from Birmingham has been charged with the murder of two women who were found dead at their flat in the city.
The bodies of Yasmine Larbi-Cherif, 22, and her 19-year-old sister Sabrina were discovered on Monday.
Forensic tests revealed the pair, who lived at Jupiter Apartments near the city centre, died of stab wounds.
The Algerian-born sisters moved to England with their parents 10 years ago. The suspect, 28, is due before city magistrates on Saturday morning.
Police have not released his name.
The sisters were British nationals and had only lived in their flat for a few weeks.
Their family live in the Wembley area of north-west London.
A statement released on behalf of the women's father said: "I am a very proud and dignified man and am praying to God that he grants Yasmine and Sabrina his blessing and hosts them in his eternal gardens of heaven."
