One killed in burning crashed car

A person has died after a car crashed into a bus stop and caught fire.

The accident happened in School Road, Hall Green, Birmingham, in the early hours of Sunday.

West Midlands Ambulance Service said crews arrived to find a car and a bus stop on fire.

He added that "nothing could be done to save the occupant of the car" and that the identity and gender of the deceased was not yet known.
