Man shot in arm taken to hospital

A 25-year-old man has been shot in the arm in Birmingham.

He was discovered in Kingscliff Road, Small Heath, in the early hours of Friday, a spokesperson for West Midlands Police said.

The man was taken to a hospital in the city at about 0330 BST, although police said his injuries were not thought to be life-threatening.

The road was closed as detectives carried out forensic examinations, which have since been completed.
