Posts could go at crisp factory

Up to 300 jobs could go at a crisp factory in the West Midlands after the company lost what it said was a vital contract.

Bosses at Red Mill Snack Food, in Wednesbury, said they would be carrying out a three-month review to see exactly how many posts would have to go.

The move follows the cancellation of a lucrative Pringles Minis contract.

James McKinney, managing director of Tayto, which owns the factory, said they would try to minimise the losses.
