Police believe a man who started a fire at a West Midlands bar, in which a man suffered serious burns, may have been thrown out of the bar earlier.
The victim suffered burns to his hands and feet in the attack at the Que Pasa bar, in The Ryemarket, Stourbridge, in the early hours of Saturday.
A man, in his late 20s or early 30s, had thrown in an accelerant, thought to be petrol, and set it alight.
He is described as white, bald and 5ft 8ins to 5ft 10in.
He was wearing a dark jacket and white T-shirt.
Det Insp Will O'Connor, of West Midlands Police, said: "We are continuing to trace and speak to witnesses and locate CCTV footage which should help identify the offender.
"In fact, we would also appeal to this man to come forward so that he can assist the inquiry by explaining the full circumstances of the incident."
The injured man is still in a serious condition in hospital but his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
