Man killed as vehicle hits tree

A man died when the car he was travelling in hit a tree near a village in Herefordshire.

Emergency crews were called to Tillington Road, near Three Elms, at about 0310 BST.

The man, who has not yet been identified, was found trapped in the wreckage of the vehicle. Paramedics said he died at the scene.

A second man who had also been in the car managed to escape from the vehicle uninjured.
