Fresh charges over model's death

A 41-year-old man has been remanded in custody charged with the kidnap and murder of an ex-model who went missing from his home more than two years ago.

Officers searching for Andre Nunes, 48, found his remains during a search of a house and its grounds in Alvechurch, Worcestershire, in September.

Mark Pryce, of Wharf Road, Kings Norton in Birmingham appeared before magistrates in the city.

He is the second person to be charged with murdering Mr Nunes.

Michael Weldon, 55, of Rednal, Worcestershire, denies charges of murder and kidnap.

Michael Oliver, 52, of Lilley Green Road, Alvechurch, has also denied obstructing a coroner and assisting an offender in connection with the case.

Former model Mr Nunes was reported missing from his home in Wesley Castle in Birmingham on 11 September 2005.

His house was found with the door open but all his belongings still inside.
