Missing 10-year-old boy is safe
Ben Smythe
Police were "extremely concerned" about Ben
A 10-year-old Birmingham boy, who was missing for more than 19 hours, has been found safe and well.

Ben Smythe disappeared after he left his friend's home in Riddfield Road, Bromford, about 1900 GMT on Sunday to walk the short distance to his home.

West Midlands Police said however that Ben had been found at about lunchtime.

Police had carried out house-to-house inquiries and the force helicopter in the search for Ben, who recently moved to Bromford Drive.

Ben had been playing football with his friend Simon Kesterton and they had gone to a chip shop before the disappearance.
