Rodway Close remains cordoned off
Police investigating the fatal shooting of a Birmingham man are trying to trace his last movements.

The 27-year-old from Winson Green, whose name has not been released, died in hospital after being shot at a house in Rodway Close, Newtown, on Sunday.

Detectives have appealed for people who saw his car - a black Seat Ibiza, registration SD06 ZRK - on the day of his death.

Armed officers are patrolling the area while investigations are carried out.

They said they were still waiting for the victim's family to formally identify him.

Rodway Close remains cordoned off while forensic examinations and house-to-house inquiries are carried out.
