Ex-England striker Alan Shearer and BBC presenter Adrian Chiles have completed their 355 mile cycle ride for Sport Relief and raised more than 300,000.

The pair rode into BBC Television Centre in London after setting off from Newcastle on Thursday.

They stopped off at The Hawthorns, home of Chiles' beloved West Bromwich Albion, earlier.

Upon arrival in London, they were awarded special yellow jerseys, also worn by Tour de France winners.

At The Hawthorns, a tired Chiles said: "I woke up this morning wondering how on earth I'm going to get through today with three hours' sleep after one of the hardest days of my life yesterday.

"I've got another one today. I just plain don't know how we're going to pull it off."
