Wimbledon kidney cancer girl dies
Emily Bailes
Emily was diagnosed three months before the final
A nine-year-old girl who was invited to toss the coin ahead of a women's Wimbledon final has died after a four-year battle with cancer.

Emily Bailes was involved in a piece of history as Russian Maria Sharapova went on to claim victory after winning the toss and serving first in 2004.

Emily, from Bloxwich in Walsall, was diagnosed with kidney cancer three months before the tennis tournament.

She had been undergoing chemotherapy every month but she died on Saturday.
