Inquiry launched after body find
Broadway West, Walsall
The man was pronounced dead at the scene
Detectives investigating the discovery of a man's body in a road are looking at whether his injuries may have been the result of a collision with a car.

The 51-year-old was found in Broadway West, in Walsall, at about 0550 GMT. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

West Midlands Police want to trace a dark-coloured car seen in the area around the time the man was found.

Broadway West between Bescot Retail Park and West Bromwich Road remains closed following the incident.

Police are keen to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time or who may have seen the car, which is believed to have been travelling in the direction of Wednesbury Road.
