Six people were taken to hospital after the collision
A man has been arrested after two buses collided in the Black Country, trapping two elderly women.

A 73-year-old was trapped under a bus and a 70-year-old was trapped between a bus and bus shelter at Walsall bus station on 20 February.

Six people were taken to hospital, and five were later released. One woman remains in hospital.

Police arrested a man, 61, on suspicion of dangerous driving. He was released on bail pending further inquiries.

The woman trapped under the bus suffered head injuries after the crash involving two single-decker buses.

Air bags and jacks were used to rescue both women.

Of the six people taken to hospital, three were released on the day and a man and woman were released subsequently.
