Six people were treated after the collision
Two elderly women became trapped, one underneath a bus, after two buses collided in the Black Country.

A 73-year-old was trapped under a bus while a 70-year-old was trapped between a bus and a bus shelter at Walsall bus station just before noon.

The crash involved two single-decker buses. Four passengers also suffered minor injuries.

The woman trapped under the bus suffered head injuries and air bags and jacks were used to rescue them both.

All six were taken to hospital for treatment and three people have since left.

Witnesses said they saw a bus drag the women underneath as it moved towards the depot.

Passengers were diverted and the buses eventually towed away.
