LDV vans' chief executive resigns
The chief executive of Birmingham-based van makers LDV has resigned, citing personal reasons.

Steve Young was appointed 18 months ago by the new owners, Russian vehicle company Gaz.

He led LDV out of debt and to improved sales after the company was on the brink of collapse two years ago.

The new chief executive will be named in January next year. About 800 people are employed at the factory in Birmingham.
