Man, 31, seriously hurt in attack
A 31-year-old man has been seriously injured in a stabbing in part of Birmingham.

The man, who has not been named, was stabbed in the back in George Street, Balsall Heath.

Police said it was believed the man had got into an argument with a group of youths on Saturday night.

Several other people were also injured in the incident. The man has had to undergo surgery at Birmingham's Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

Officers urged any witnesses to contact them.
