Legionnaires' outbreak is probed
Inquiries into an outbreak of Legionnaires' disease are continuing, health agencies say.

A woman in her 50s died and four more people are recovering after the outbreak in Dudley, West Midlands.

A spokeswoman for Dudley Primary Care Trust said there had been no more notifications of people falling ill and inquiries were continuing.

Wet air conditioning systems and cooling towers in the area have been shut down or disinfected.

Reports of the woman's death at Russells Hall Hospital were made public on Friday.

Another person is being treated in hospital while three more are recovering at home.

Legionnaires' disease is a type of pneumonia or lung infection which can prove fatal.
