Commuters face further day of woe
Commuters in the West Midlands face a second day of disruption after vandals brought down power lines on the Midland Metro tram service.

Overhead cables were brought down on Wednesday evening after rubbish bags were thrown onto them.

On Friday, a Metro spokesman said there would be no services in or out of Birmingham Snow Hill for the day.

Trains between Stourbridge and Snow Hill were at a standstill on Friday morning due to a signalling failure.

Metro is operating a service between Wolverhampton and West Bromwich Central.

More information about Metro services over the weekend will be released on Friday afternoon.
