Man, 80, critical after stabbing
Leslie Ince
Mr Ince is well respected and liked in the community
An 80-year-old man remains critically ill after being stabbed in the neck in his Black Country home.

Leslie Ince, of St Ives Road, Walsall, was discovered last Wednesday morning after his son flagged down a police car when he could not get into the house.

It is thought Mr Ince could have been attacked up to two days earlier.

Police have not been able to discover a motive for the attack, which is being treated as attempted murder, and appealed for witnesses to contact them.

Mr Ince's daughter, Stephanie, said: "The family find it very difficult to believe that anybody would want to harm our elderly father in any way.

"We are shocked and devastated someone could hurt him.

"My dad is a strong, fit and healthy man who is well respected and liked in the community."
