These men could have vital information
Detectives investigating the death of a shopkeeper shot dead outside his store, have released images of people they would like to speak to.

Father-of-two Mohammed Basharat, 24, died as he shut the Supermalt store in Villa Road, Lozells, Birmingham, on 29 November last year.

The men pictured were in the store on 23 October and police said they may have crucial information.

A West Midlands Police spokesman said Mr Basharat was shot several times.

The spokesman said police were working tirelessly to see what happened that evening but they know the offenders left on foot and turned right along Villa Road.

They then left to Hunters Road and continued towards the Hockley flyover.

There are people who know who is responsible for the crime and they must come forward, the spokesman added.
