Son finds father stabbed in home
An 80-year-old man has been found stabbed in the neck at his home after being attacked up to two days ago.

The elderly man's son made the discovery after flagging down a passing police car when he was unable to get in or contact his father by phone.

He is now in a critical condition in hospital.

He was found on Wednesday in St Ives Road in Walsall in the Black Country. A West Midlands Police spokesman said the motive for the attack was unclear.
