'Fighting dogs' seized by police
Three dogs suspected of being used for fighting have been seized by police in the West Midlands.

Officers said the breeds of the animals were yet to be determined, but it is believed they were covered by the Dangerous Dogs Act.

A man and a woman have been arrested and are helping police with inquiries.

Two properties were searched by police, accompanied by RSPCA officers, in Kennet Grove and Holly Road, in Chelmsley Wood near Solihull.

Pc Steve Newman said: "This was a joint operation with the RSPCA and is based on intelligence from the local community."
