Man jailed for raping prostitute
A man who abducted a prostitute and threatened to set fire to her before raping her twice has been jailed for eight years.

Syed Ali, 26, of Eddy Road, Kidderminster, Worcs, had picked up the 20-year-old woman in Walsall, Wolverhampton Crown Court heard.

The bus driver had then driven her to woods and raped her. He had also threatened to inject her with heroin.

He was found guilty of two counts of rape by a unanimous verdict.

Judge Michael Dudley told Ali only a substantial sentence was appropriate.
