Dogs seized 'in fighting inquiry'
Police have seized 17 dogs as part of an investigation into suspected dog fighting activities, the RSPCA said.

Ten adult dogs and seven puppies were removed in Lye, Stourbridge, on Friday and are now in the care of police, the animal charity said.

The RSPCA said it is helping police nationwide with an ongoing investigation into dog fighting.

It estimates about 100 people are involved in hard-core underground dog fighting in Britain.
