Three people armed with what are thought to have been two shotguns have carried out a robbery on a security van at a Birmingham supermarket.
The offenders wearing balaclavas threatened a guard from the van near a cash machine at Asda, Great Barr, before stealing cash, police said.
They used a white van, which was found on fire at the scene, it is believed.
The group fled in a dark-coloured saloon car, which was recovered in Hassop Road, after Monday's robbery.
No-one was injured in the incident. Sutton Coldfield police have appealed for information.
