Foreign hunt for fire death pair

Detectives are to travel to Bangladesh in search of two suspects wanted in connection with the death of a six-year-old Birmingham girl.

Alisha Begum died in an arson attack at her family home in Handsworth.

Last week Daryll Tuzzio, 18, was convicted of manslaughter and arson, while Hussain Ahmed, 26, of Harborne, was acquitted of plotting the attack.

Police say they still want to trace two other men who they believe fled from the UK following the arson attack.

West Midlands detectives are working closely with their counterparts in Bangladesh and are due to fly out there to help with the search.

Tuzzio, of Sandringham Road, Perry Barr, started the blaze in an "honour" killing plot against Alisha Begum's family in March.
