Plans for city library unveiled
Birmingham's new library will be built in Centenary Square, the city council has announced.

Developers Capita Symonds are managing plans for the new landmark building which will be built between Baskerville House and the Repertory Theatre.

Details of the project will not be finalised until spring 2007 but the council said the new library would be "world class".

The current library is situated in Chamberlain Square.
