Public urged to tour city mosque
People from across the West Midlands are invited to tour a Birmingham mosque over the weekend in a bid to improve their understanding of Islam.

Visitors to Birmingham Central Mosque will be taken around the building, can try Muslim food and will be able to discuss aspects of the Islamic faith.

The tour is part of work by Birmingham's Muslim community to improve relations.

The free two-day exhibition starts at 1000 BST on Saturday.

Organiser Nozmul Hussain said it is important the public know that everyone is welcome to visit mosques.
