A £300,000 superloo is offering much more than the chance to go to the toilet in Wolverhampton.
The Victoria Street shopfront offers access to a reception space, information exchange and rest area, as well as the toilets.
There are also showers, a telephone link to council services, access to the civic website and a multi-media screen.
It is permanently staffed by attendants and council bosses hope it will be a welcome sight to tourists and visitors.
Councillor Andrew Johnson said the nation was lacking toilet facilities that welcomed tourists.
Councillor Andrew Johnson reckons it will make the city a trailblazer

He said: "Hopefully, it will put Wolverhampton on the map - we want to be a trailblazer for other tourist cities in Britain.
"This development is another example of the council's commitment to improving services across the city.
"We have carefully thought about the design of this new facility to ensure it will further enhance Wolverhampton's reputation as a city which welcomes and cares for its residents and visitors."
The facility also includes a quiet area suitable for breastfeeding mothers.
William Lawrence from the British Toilet Association said they would make people feel very welcome.
He said: "I have seen a lot of toilets around the world and I don't think anything quite comes up to the standards here."
