Commuters get £1m parking boost
Commuters are being encouraged to stay off the roads and get on the trains in a £1m project to improve station car parking in the West Midlands.

Car parks at Acocks Green, Whitlocks End, Chester Road and Wylde Green are being expanded to encourage more people to catch the train to Birmingham.

The four stations currently have space for 260 cars and are full on weekdays.

Centro, the public transport promotions group, said it would provide nearly 200 extra spaces between the four sites.
