Pupils return to fire-hit school
Fire at Light Hall School
A number of classrooms were destroyed by the fire last month
Pupils returned to classes at a school in the West Midlands which was severely damaged by fire last month.

Children were back at Light Hall School in Shirley in Solihull after classrooms were burnt out three weeks ago.

Since then children have been coming into the school on a "part-time" basis with a certain number of year groups being taught on different days.

Now temporary classrooms have been put up and repairs to the damaged buildings are almost finished.

Twelve classrooms, catering facilities and the canteen were destroyed by the fire on 26 February.

Its cause is still being investigated by West Midlands Fire Service.
