Tayib Rauf is seen at his father's shop
New CCTV footage has emerged of a 22-year-old man arrested in Birmingham as part of an alleged plot to blow up planes leaving the UK.

Tayib Rauf is seen at his father's shop hours before his arrest on 10 August. It is thought the footage was released by one of his friends.

His brother, Rashid, was arrested with another man in Lahore and Karachi in Pakistan last week.

Twenty-four men are currently being held by police.

Twenty-three of them were among 24 arrested during raids on properties in London, High Wycombe in Buckinghamshire, and Birmingham early on Thursday.

Searches 'on-going'

The 24th person was released without charge on Friday evening.

But another man was arrested on Tuesday in the Thames Valley area.

Police must ask a judge to grant an extra seven days to question the 23, or release them on Wednesday. A previous extension granted on Friday expires on Wednesday evening.

Police have executed a total of 46 searches at residential and business premises - 22 of which remain ongoing, Scotland Yard said on Tuesday.
