Residents have returned to their homes after being forced to leave when police arrested a man in Birmingham over the failed 21 July attacks in London.
A Taser stun gun was used in the arrest of Yasin Hassan Omar - suspected of the attack near Warren Street Tube station - in Small Heath, Birmingham.
Police said a suspect package was found on Heybarnes Road but there was no controlled explosion.
Three men arrested under the Terrorism Act in Ward End are still being held.
Forensic examination
They were also arrested on Wednesday in Bankdale Road in Birmingham.
The men were taken into custody and remain at an undisclosed police station.
Police stressed they are still looking for three other men over the attacks on 21 July.
A police cordon remained in force in Small Heath in Birmingham while a forensic examination of the scene continued.
In a statement, West Midlands Police said: "Public safety is the absolute priority.
"The force would like to put on record its sincere thanks to the community for its support, patience and co-operation today during an ongoing operation, which has caused disruption and inconvenience to the public."
