Parents at a Birmingham school are releasing balloons into the air as a protest against plans to close it.
Bosworth Wood Primary School in Castle Bromwich is due to merge with Kingfisher Primary under proposals from Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council.
A new school would be built on or near the Kingfisher site as part of a 15-year project called Regenerating North Solihull.
The public consultation period ends on 16 January.
