Passengers face rail disruption
Rail passengers using Virgin services in the Midlands are facing disruption over the bank holiday due to major engineering works.

Upgrades are being carried out to the track which is affecting services around Sandwell & Dudley and Coventry.

Trains will be affected along the Cross Country network, and the West Coast Main Line from London to Rugby, Coventry, Birmingham and Wolverhampton.

Alternative routes will be used and buses will replace some trains.
