A dispute between refuse workers and a council over festive rubbish collections has been resolved.
The workers have agreed to accept Sandwell Council's offer of a £900 per week payment for the two-week period following Christmas.
Unions had wanted more money but, following a secret ballot, accepted the council offer.
A council spokesman said he was pleased Sandwell would have a higher level of service over the holidays.
The refuse collectors normally earn between £360 and £420 per week.
