Deal to be signed on tram route
Officials are meeting to sign a deal agreeing to a £200m extension of the Metro tram network in the West Midlands.

A route through Dudley town centre has been agreed as part of a planned 11km extension between Wednesbury, Dudley and Brierley Hill.

A similar agreement between Centro and Sandwell Council was completed earlier this year.

The Metro currently runs between Wolverhampton and Birmingham.

It caters for five million passengers a year.
