A West Midlands train company is to double the fines it charges people who dodge fares.
From Tuesday, Central Trains will be increasing its penalty from £10 to £20.
The company hopes the higher fine and a naming and shaming campaign will eventually halve the number of people travelling without a ticket.
Last month, Central Trains said it had caught more than 80 fare dodger who were charged a total of almost £14,000 in fines.
