Fourth couple 'win' IVF treatment
A fourth and final couple has been chosen for fertility treatment funded by a Birmingham newspaper.

The couple, from Walsall, will receive free treatment as part of the Birmingham Post's Fertility Funding For All campaign launched in January.

The campaign aims to highlight the huge bills faced by couples undergoing fertility treatment and is backed by specialists Midland Fertility Services.

Three couples were selected to undergo treatment earlier this month.

The fourth "winner" - identified only as Mrs D - told the newspaper she was "thrilled" to be given the opportunity

A 32-year-old sales manager, she is facing a three-year wait for treatment at an NHS hospital.

The Birmingham Post was inundated with calls after launching the initiative to raise awareness of the difficulties faced by IVF patients and the need for more investment in the sector.
