A robber has been targeting lone older women in a spate of handbag snatches in part of Birmingham.
Police believe the same man is responsible for the six crimes throughout November. The victims were all women aged between 66 and 86.
The Perry Barr robberies were in Tower Hill, Beeches Road, the One Stop shopping centre car park, Walsall Road and two in Glendower Road.
The suspect was described as black, aged 18 to 25 and with a slim build.
Thornhill Road officers are appealing for information. They are urging people in the area not to carry large amounts of cash and report any suspicious activity to police.
They are warning elderly women to be on their guard and look after bags.
